What Min Max Quantities does

Min Max Quantities for WooCommerce lets you control how many of a product a customer can buy. Set a minimum, a maximum and a step ("group of") so products are bought in packs. Rules apply to the quantity field on product pages, to the cart, to checkout and to the WooCommerce blocks, including the block cart, block checkout, mini cart and the block product page.

Questions about Min Max Quantities

Which rule wins when several apply?

Variation (Pro), then product, then category (Pro), then store-wide. A product marked "Exclude from rules" ignores all of them.

What does "Group of" do?

Customers must buy in multiples of that number. If no minimum is set, the group size becomes the minimum.

Does it work with the block cart and checkout?

Yes. Limits are passed to WooCommerce's Store API, so the block cart, mini cart, block checkout and block product page all respect them.

Does it change existing cart quantities?

WooCommerce's block cart snaps quantities into the allowed range automatically. On the classic cart and checkout, the customer sees an error and adjusts the quantity.
