What Sale Badges & Countdown does

Sale Badges and Countdown Timers for WooCommerce turns the generic "Sale!" badge into one that tells customers what they save, adds useful badges to product images, and shows a live countdown when a sale has an end date. It works with classic themes, block themes, the Product Collection block and shortcodes.

  • "Up to" wording for variable and grouped products whose discounts differ.

How to set up Sale Badges & Countdown in WooCommerce

    Upload the plugin to /wp-content/plugins/ or install it from the Plugins screen.

    Activate it. WooCommerce 9.0 or newer must be active.

  3. 3

    Adjust badges under WooCommerce > Settings > Badges. For a countdown, schedule the sale end date on the product under General > Schedule.

Questions about Sale Badges & Countdown

Where does the countdown get its end time?

From the product's scheduled sale end date. Variable and grouped products use the earliest end among the items on sale.

Does it work with block themes?

Yes. Badges and countdowns are added to the Product Image, Sale Badge, Product Price and product gallery blocks, and nothing is printed twice when WooCommerce also runs its classic hooks.

Can I turn off the sale badge changes and keep only the countdown?

Yes. Untick "Customise the sale badge".
