What Orders to Google Sheets does

Orders to Google Sheets for WooCommerce keeps a live spreadsheet of your orders for packing lists, accounting, or sharing with people who should not have WordPress access.

Setup takes about two minutes: paste a small script into your sheet (Extensions > Apps Script), deploy it as a web app, and paste its URL into WooCommerce. There is no Google Cloud project, no API key and no OAuth app to create. The script contains a secret only your store knows, so nobody else can write to your sheet.

Orders to Google Sheets features

Included with every licence

  • New orders added to your sheet as they arrive, in the background.
  • The same row updates when the order changes status or is refunded, so the sheet always matches WooCommerce.
  • Your own columns and notes in the sheet are never moved or overwritten.
  • Columns: order ID and number, date, status, customer, email, phone, country, city, items, item count, subtotal, discount, shipping, tax, refunded, total, currency, payment and shipping method, customer note.
  • Choose which statuses add an order to the sheet.
  • Spreadsheet-safe: text that looks like a formula is stored as text, phone numbers keep their leading zeros, and amounts stay numbers you can sum.
  • Automatic retries if Google is busy, plus a test button and an activity log.

Pro features

  • Choose and order the columns.
  • Extra columns: company, billing and shipping address, coupons, customer ID, transaction ID, paid and completed dates, and a link to the order.
  • Any order meta field as a column, e.g. a delivery date or gift message from another plugin.
  • Send existing orders for any date range and statuses, in batches of 100, without duplicating rows already on the sheet.

Questions about Orders to Google Sheets

Why Apps Script instead of a Google login?

It needs no Google Cloud project or app review, works with any Google account including Workspace, and the script runs inside your own spreadsheet, so your data goes straight from your store to your sheet.

The test says Google did not return the script reply

The web app must be deployed with "Who has access" set to "Anyone". In Apps Script, open Deploy > Manage deployments, edit the deployment, and change the access. Anyone with the URL still needs your secret to write.

I changed the script. Do I need a new URL?

If you create a new deployment, yes. If you edit the existing deployment and choose a new version, the URL stays the same.

Can I add my own columns to the sheet?

Yes. Add columns anywhere. The plugin only writes to its own columns, matched by header name.
