Support
Help from the developer who wrote the plugin
Every licence includes support by email, answered within one business day by someone who works on the code. Here is what that covers, and how to get an answer in one round trip.
What support covers
Included with every licence
- Installing and setting the plugin up on your store
- Settings that do not behave as the plugin page describes
- Bugs, including errors on the block checkout or classic checkout
- Conflicts with WooCommerce updates, your theme or another plugin
- Questions about what a setting does before you change it
- Moving a licence to a new domain or staging site
Outside what support can do
- Writing custom code or templates for your theme
- Changing how the plugin works for one store only
- Fixing other plugins or a broken WooCommerce installation
- Sites running a WooCommerce or PHP version below the plugin's minimum
- Modified copies of the plugin (bring back the original and we will help)
If you need custom work, ask anyway: we will point you at the right hook or tell you honestly it is a job for a developer.
Get an answer in one round trip
- 1
Read the plugin page first
Every plugin page has setup steps, a feature list and the questions other stores asked. Most settings questions are answered there in a minute.
- 2
Rule out a conflict
If something broke after an update, switch to a default theme (Storefront or Twenty Twenty-Five) and deactivate other plugins one at a time. Tell us what changed the result.
- 3
Send the details
Email support@pluginwizards.com with the plugin name, the WooCommerce and PHP versions (WooCommerce > Status), which checkout you use, what you expected, what happened, and a screenshot if there is one. Temporary admin access to a staging copy speeds things up a lot.
Common questions
How quickly will I hear back?
Within one business day, Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm IST (UTC+5:30). Bugs that stop checkout are looked at first. You get an answer from the developer who works on that plugin, not a scripted reply.
Is support included in the price?
Yes. A licence includes support and updates for the length of the licence. The code is GPL and keeps working after a licence ends; what stops is updates and support until you renew.
Can I ask a question before I buy?
Please do. Describe the store and what should happen, and we will say whether a plugin does it. If it does not, we will say that too, and sometimes point you at someone else's plugin that does. Use the contact page.
Do you log in to my store?
Only if you offer it, and we would rather it were a staging copy. Never send passwords by email: create a temporary administrator account, send its login details through a one-time link, and delete the account when we are done.
What if a bug cannot be fixed?
Bugs in the plugin get fixed in a release; you are told the version number and when to expect it. If the plugin cannot do what its page says it does on your store, the refund policy applies.
Will you add a feature I need?
Possibly. Requests that fit the plugin's job and would help other stores go on the roadmap, and you are told when they ship. Requests specific to one store are usually better done as a small snippet, and we will say so.
How do I report a security issue?
Email support@pluginwizards.com with "Security" in the subject. We confirm within one business day, fix it in a release, and credit you in the changelog if you like. Please do not post it publicly before the fix is out.
